Our client wanted to change their window treatments in their living room and their dinning room.
In the living room, we wanted to make this non-conventional shaped window fit more into the room. Theses type of windows are very difficult to dress and that’s where our expertise comes at play.
We created a window treatment that would make the window look bigger, taller and somewhat theatrical without taking away the light.
Here is the before and after :
For the dining room, we wanted to bring together the bay window, create some height by installing the rods a little higher and make it look a little more formal.
I’m very pleased to introduce you today my dear friend Steve. We have met approximately 10 years ago working on a commercial project. It was such a wonderful experience since Steve is extremely professional yet warm and friendly.
Since then, Steve has decided to pursue his passion for wood work. Even though, he is beginning in this new path, you can clearly see his talent and the quality of his work in this picture.
This bed has an amazing story! A true piece of Quebec history. This bed is made out of a century old barn beam. Steve’s friend kept it as a souvenir from her family’s barn that they had built themselves. With all his talent, Steve turned the beam into this amazing bed.
The bed is made using the same technics they used back then using studs and mortise. It is finished with minwax cerisier 235 stain and a ”secret” mix of urethane semi-gloss varnish.
Here is another project on the way….
So if you feel like having a unique piece added to your house made by a very talented wood-worker, I strongly recommend Steve.
Here is how to reach him :
In this project our clients wanted to add more natural light to their kitchen and open up their space. It was was surrounded by walls that did not allow the natural light to come in.
To fix this, we have relocated the kitchen so that they can enjoy the view from a new window adapted to the room. Here is the renovation step by step.

In this basement bathroom project we had to design the whole space to make it functional and practical. You will noticed that we have hidden the electrical box behind a cabinet door and re-arranged the toilet and shower placement.
Before : Electrical box to hide
Finished vanity with electrical box hidden behind storage
Shower wall before
Finished shower : Noticed we have re-arranged the toilet
This is a stunning room where we have helped our very talented client to add up to it.
We have created this custom window treatment using a wall to wall ripplefold made of a gorgeous printed sheer and a black out fabric. The result is breathtaking don’t you think?
After the living room and the kitchen, the powder room is certainly the next room your guests will see.
Our clients are classic people but wanted something original and creative for their powder room. We have fulfilled their demands with this custom vanity with the unexpected look.
Here is a very interesting project. We had the mandate to give our client more storage and functionality to their bathroom. So we have switched the shower with the vanity from the previous layout. Doing so, we have created a custom designed furniture to allow for a bigger vanity.
Here is a ”before”picture where you can see from the door’s view that the vanity is quite small.
On this ”before” picture” you can also see that the shower will be placed onto the opposite wall.
Here are the plans we proposed to our client. Note that we have created an extra storage in the back to make the vanity wider. You can see a side view of that storage also.
And this is the end result! Pretty awesome and fabulous!!!
We all love the open space concept, but it’s not always easy to divide the rooms according to their functions.
Here is a great example where we have separated the dining room from the living room by adding wall paper and re-positioning furniture. We used the table, the couch and the fire place to make the transition more fluid between the two rooms. And it’s quite stunning, don’t you think?
THE OWNERS ARE VERY HAPPY WITH OUR SUGGESTIONS ! They love the atmosphere of their transformed living room plus they find it feels much more spacious !
Use the furniture to separate the circulation space from the sitting area, create a unique and functional tv storage and dress the window with long drapes using the available height.
